My experience

I started my experience building websites back in the mid-1990s, when the World Wide Web started to become popular in Germany.

I was one of the first in Germany to get a diploma in the newly created course of “Media Design for Digital and Print”, and was lucky enough to get a job as Production and Design Manager at Microsoft‘s MSN before I had even finished. You know the butterfly logo, a variation of which you can still see on msn.com to this day? I was part of the team that implemented this in the EMEA region.

Since then I have managed Xbox.com EMEA, introduced a mobile strategy at Ticketmaster International, helped create and manage Ayoba, a super app for Africa and the Middle East, and worked on a number of other projects.

I’m currently Head of Product at Ticketsoft.io, an exciting startup combining event ticketing and blockchain technology.

Since I started out on the web I’ve stayed on top of the most current web technologies, and I love putting my knowledge to good use for my friends and clients.

My past experience includes shopping sites, complex directory and event websites, blogs, business sites for pubs, clubs, life coaches and cartographers, as well as adult and other content sites.

I once even built a website for a bar in Thailand on my phone, while I was drinking and listening to live music.
